Send a photo of the drawing and we build the character in three dimensions — keeping the proportions the child chose rather than correcting them into something more anatomically sensible.
That restraint is the whole point. If the arms are too long and the head is enormous, the arms stay too long and the head stays enormous. Otherwise it stops being their drawing.
Where the drawing does not say what something looks like from behind, we make a decision and show it to you in the preview before we print.
Questions we get
- Will you fix the proportions?
- No, and please do not ask us to. Keeping the drawing's proportions is what makes it recognisable as theirs.
- The drawing does not show the back.
- We will invent it and show you in the preview. If we get it wrong, that is what the rounds of changes are for.
- Can you do more than one character from the same page?
- One per figurine. Two characters on one base is quoted by hand.
